Announcing Bruce McGrew: Continuum, a new book of selected work by Oracle, Arizona artist Bruce McGrew. Over 100 color images plus archival photos. The work is organized by landscapes, figural and conceptual (abstract) paintings, plus examples of McGrew’s field notebooks and smaller works. Mediums include watercolors, oils, mixed media, and monoprints. Bruce McGrew died in 1999 but his work and memory live on. Regarded as one of the finest southwest watercolorists, McGrew was also an art professor who taught at the University of Arizona for decades. McGrew was among the original Rancho Linda Vista founding families in 1968, a community now in its third generation, continuing to support art, artists, and other cultural endeavors.

Reviews

“No one knows the art landscape of Oracle, Arizona like Paul Gold does. His latest volume in the PMG Artist Catalog Series focuses on the work of the late Bruce McGrew and is an enlightening read. Fascinating anecdotes and observations abound.”

—Jenny Isaacs, Art Enthusiast
